Collaborations and Peer Review

Hey There,

On Friday Feb 24th, at 9am, Instructure will be hosting a webinar as part of its Best Practices in Canvas series. The topic is Collaborations and Peer Review in Canvas: Making Student-Student Interaction Every-Day. The webinar will be presented by Jared Stein from Instructure.

The nature of online learning environments has increased the potential for all types of student interactions, including student-to-student. Student-student interactions can increase the quantity and diversity of feedback, positively affect motivation, and develop valuable collaborative skills. But designing and managing student-to-student learning experiences has been a challenge for teachers, who need to account for and assess these interactions that may not even be a part of. Canvas was designed to empower students by supporting this kind of interactions, while providing teachers with the tools and insights they need. Learn and discuss how Canvas can be leveraged to design effective collaborative assignments, peer review activities, and group projects.

I invite you to attend this webinar and learn more about Student-Student Interactions in Canvas.

* If you are unable to attend, this will be archived in the Best Pracitce Webinar Archive forum at help.instructure.com.
